Alhamdullilah who has provided us a 'masjid' in the name of the sacred town of the true saviour of mankind,a precinct to taste heaven on earth and to fulfill the divine duties.Old days' assembly held under the thatched roof,weakened walls, candle light,whether in the hot summer or the cold,windy,and rainy winter are the beautiful and memorable gems of the earlier period .
For over half a century the foreheads of Muslims have bowed regularly and religious activities conducted for the pleasure of the one true Allah,and his beloved Prophet(s.a.w).This masjid of ours is the heart for all of our daily activities.From the very beginning it has gifted its faithful countless favors from the most able,Allah,and Inshah Allah we shall continue to reap the merits of this world and the hereafter.Ameen.
The Imam of the Al Madinah masjid is Brother Farook Korrimbaccus. For over a decade he is preaching us the true faith .From time to time he adapts his discourses so as to prepare us with the uprising constraints of the Islamic world. Besides the compulsory congregational prayers the Imam directs supererogatory assemblies. On Mondays after Esha prayer we celebrate together 'khatme Kwajagaan' and on Thursdays 'zikrullah’ is performed.On the eleventh of each Islamic month ‘Iquiaree shareef’ is also celebrated together.Imam sahib conducts all his programs as far as possible in short lapse of time with a view to constantly motivate us.
The former Imam of Jummah masjid ,the living saint of this country,and above all the perfect teacher of Muslims of this country ,had been guiding us all in our beliefs since long and his 'utterances' settle in the depth of our hearts.Alhamdullilah as from Year 2004 Camp Fouquereaux has been getting a special 'faiz' of Hazrat Mawlanah Shameem Ashraf Azhari sahib .Since he is living with us ,Mawlanah saheb regular visits the masjids nearby , establishes good practices,corrects our behavior ,listen to our grievances ,help us all in our difficulties,his shining presence and enriching discourses in 'mehfils' are further showering light in our life. We pray Allah,the most merciful,to give Hazrat a long and healthy life ,and to continue serve Islam.Ameen.
Since
creation of the Al Madinah masjid and even before special occasions as
‘Eid Meelaad Un Nabi (s.a.w)’ ,’Urs Shareef
‘,’Majlis’,’Yaum-e,ashura’,’Mehraaj shareef’, 'Lailatul Qadr’,’Shab-e
–baraat’ and other events have constantly been celebrated and Insha-Allah will continue in the future.On
repetitive occasions distinguished Ulemahs of our country and overseas
have attended and delivered memorable sermons.Some of the 'waez' have
also been telecast to all from the MBC.
For
Eid Meelaad Un Nabi (s.a.w) celebrations, on two consecutive years,
2008 and 2009 ,His Eminence Mawlanah Shah Anaas Siddiqui dazzled the
large assembled audience through his enlightening discourses in the Al
Madinah Educational & Welfare Centre.The Chief Patron of Halquae
Quadria Ishaate Islam has invited all of us to associte together and
work for the progress of Islam and the community. His Eminence blessings
have been standing beside us and serve to encourage us in our
endeavours; and all thanks to Allah,all the people of Camp Fouquereaux
have constantly shouldered us in all our endeavours to realise all our
projects.
