The Fourth Session-Year 2013
Al Madinah Society plans to organise the 2013 examination for regional students of standard 4-6 and form 1-6 in the third week of the mid term school holidays .(2nd August 2013 to 7th August 2013)
For setting of examination papers and its correction the help of teachers and university students in our regions have been sought .They will ensure that the question papers and marking of answer-sheets adhere to due professionalism.
As outlined in the project plan the extent of the syllabus to be examined is a major limitation in setting the papers, however we shall ensure that papers set are areas that most schools and colleges have covered.As for CPE and SC we will offer examination papers prepared on the basis of past past exam papers from Mauritius Examination Syndicate and Cambridge University.
The 2010,2011 and 2012 examinations were sponsored by members of the Al Madinah Society,World Islamic Mission,and Shah Nourani Information Technology and brothers in our regions .
For this session we plan to charge a minimum fee to students in order to reassure ourselves of the outcomes as well as to cover the basic variable costs.In case the Al Madinah society does not get adequate response from students then we will limit the examination to certain grades .All refunds to students will be made at the seat of the Al Madinah Educational & Welfare Centre on a future communicated date.The examination fees for all papers set are :
- Standard 4 to 5 -Rs300
- CPE-Rs 300
- Form 1 to 4-Rs 300
- SC and HSC -Rs 300
However,with a view to motivate our students to take part we are also planning to award the best performers of each grade ,in addition to shields and best performance certificates,electronic gadgets including computers and mini laptops as well as financial awards. Interested students wishing to enrol for this examination are requested to fill in the application form and submit to the secretary of this association with enclosed payments before the prescribed time delay.Application forms are available at the seat of the Al Madinah Educational & Welfare Centre or can be downloaded here.
